We Will Rock You

The Regal Theatre, Subiaco | July 2023

Platinum Entertainment WA know how to get people stomping their feet and clapping, but they also know how to simply entertain. The buzz from the audience afterwards was palpable, so if you’re in the mood for high energy entertainment you really can’t go past WE WILL ROCK YOU’ ~ BroadwayWorld

‘The biggest show to ever rock the Regal, We Will Rock You has roared back into Perth on its Harley Davidson to honour the unbeatable majesty of Queen.’ X-Press Magazine

‘…this show at the Regal Theatre in Subiaco not only honours the music but also that sense of theatricality and flamboyance with a no expenses spared, stunning production.’ Perth Theatregoer

Priscilla The Queen of the Desert The Musical

The Regal Theatre, Subiaco| January 2022

" A production of this calibre typically associated with a grandest of stages, and the quality is evident throughout." Seesaw

"Recent WAAPA graduate Samuel Moloney makes his professional debut as Felicia. Moloney brings a great deal of energy to the role with brilliant singing complementing Felicia's city-drag-queen-in-the-country storyline. Whilst Moloney's youthfulness suited the naïve Felicia perfectly, he also acted and sung with polish beyond his years. It's a big way to make a professional debut, but Samuel Moloney was more than up to it." - David Bravos BroadwayWorld

Really blew me away’

‘Did not miss a beat’

‘If you want a laugh, a great night out and to feel fantastic, come and see Priscilla!

What a supremely fun night out at Priscilla The Musical Perth shaking my groove thing with Dave Callan Official and watching the brilliant Pete Rowsthorn, Janelle Koenig and co. It was the best night I’ve had watching Pete in drag - and believe me, there are plenty to choose from! - Rove McManus -

Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical

Crown Theatre, Perth | May 2021

“Platinum Entertainment showed off their penchant for big, bold shows once again with a colourful and energetic performance of PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT at Crown Theatre. The show aims and hits high with strong performances from the cast, backed up by eye-catching staging, exceptional costumes, and vibrant choreography.” Broadway World

“Much of the success of this production should be credited to the choice, direction and performances of the three leading characters. Drag superstar Cougar Morrison’s theatrical debut as central character Tick/Mitzi is simply stunning in a beautifully sung, emotionally layered performance. While it is the first time Cougar has ventured onto the stage, alter ego Clint Strindberg was an outstanding theatrical performer and it is wonderful to see this talent back, bigger and better than ever - I hope that we see more of ‘both’ these entertainers.” Stage Whispers

“The opening night performance certainly had the crowd clapping and singing along, and the cast were rewarded with a massive standing ovation and rapturous applause. The musical version of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert is fun, camp and completely frivolous.” OUT in Perth

“The creative team have obviously had a ball bringing Priscilla to life. The action circles (literally) around the bus, which sits in the middle of a revolve, providing plenty of fun ways for the cast to arrive and exit. Digital projections on side panels function both as scenery and help frame the wide stage. Cherie Hewson and Katrina Patient’s costumes and Axel Richerand and Trent Ashley’s wigs bring together fluorescent colours, spandex, sequins and Australiana in a riot of colour and energy.Seesaw

The Boy From Oz

Crown Theatre, Perth | January 2021

“Congratulations Platinum Entertainment WA your production is a testament to the skill & resilience of West Aussie businesses, talent & entertainers.” - Carmen Braidwood, Journalist

Absolutely amazing and a world class show! The last show was truly special. All cast members were outstanding. Hope you come to the East coast. A great Aussie story that was so heart moving yet so fun at the same time!! Thank you Katrina and Trevor Patient for this wonderful production!! - Tracey Bugeja

Amazing show. I go to all of the musicals that come to Crown casino and this is one of the best that has ever shown. I agree that Ethan Jones was incredible. - Audience Member -

“With huge shoes to fill, Ethan came into his own on stage last night in all regards. Almost like he was born to play this part. Aside from Ethan’s extraordinary musical and dancing skills, some of the most endearing moments of the show, for me, were when he interacts directly with the audience as Peter. Some of it scripted, some improv. All impressive. A combination that makes Ethan, just like those before him, the full package!” Agent Mystery Case

I could say the night belonged to Ethan Jones and truly he was barely offstage and worked his heart out, but I must declare that this was one of the finest pieces of collective ensemble works seen for many years in Perth, and not only that, with a largely local cast!Australian Stage

Ethan Jones is an amazing Peter Allen, owning this show with a stunning portrayal of the title role. A consummate performer, Jones works the audience with great style, sings superbly and finds a depth of character, giving us an exhilarating focus for the show.Stage Whispers

“This new locally produced version of the popular musical is a faultless world-class undertaking. Out in Perth

“Jones, a WAAPA graduate and consummate pianist, effortlessly accomplished the role’s mammoth singing and dancing load while playing the piano live on stage—a feat that neither of his predecessors, Hugh Jackman and Todd McKenney, could achieve. His musical virtuosity, powerful singing voice and infectious energy were on full display during musical numbers such as ‘The Lives of Me’, ‘Bi-Coastal’, and of course, ‘I Go to Rio’.” Isolated Nation

“We can’t get to Rio or Broadway but productions like this are a good reminder there’s plenty to love about still calling (Western) Australia home.” See Saw Mag
